A legendary steak in one say. It joins two tastes which come from sides of its t-shaped bone (the bone includes the backbone and its attached finger bones) - tenderloin (FILLET) and STRIPLOIN. T-bone is very popular in British and American STEAKHOUSES.
A double-thick T-bone of white Chianina beef cattle grilled rare over natural oak charcoal and served sliced for two, called La Fiorentina, is a Tuscan specialty. It may weigh 225 to 680g (8 to 24 ounces).
