Rostbef (strip loin) can be cut bone-in or boneless depending on consumer market. By other words it is sometimes called diamond cut. More often Strip loin is prepared for steaks or roasted. The cut is made between prime rib and upper hip (sirloin). One of the most popular steaks cut from the strip loin is New York Strip Steak.

However, when it is prepared (PAD) without a chain and fat SILVERSIN-OFF the weight is usually:

This type of cut is sold as frozen product.
